This hand-painted reproduction nose art panel replicates the Bf-109G flown by the infamous German ace, Erich Hartmann of JG 52. Hartmann joined the Luftwaffe in October, 1940 and went on to become the highest scoring ace of all time. During his career he flew over 1,400 missions and racked up 352 kills.
This panel features his personal bleeding heart emblem and contains his wife's nickname. Made with aircraft aluminum, the hand painted panel measures 18 x 40" and is easily hangable on most walls with built in loops on the rear of the panel. This makes a great conversation piece and provides the perfect accent to any room.
