This faithful hand-painted reproduction nose art panel of the B-24 Liberator "Booby Trap" (SN 44-40193) was created by renowned aviation artist Gary Velasco. This multi-piece panel contains over two hundred rivets! This B-24 flew with the 321BS, 90BG, 5th Air Force. The skull and crossbones incorporated into the nose art was the trademark of the Pacific Theater based "Jolly Rogers". The name came from commanding officer Colonel Art Rogers. The "Jolly Rogers" lay claim to having downed more enemy attackers than any other heavy bomber unit in the American Air Force.
Made with aircraft aluminum, the hand painted panel measures 18 x 40" and is easily hangable on most walls with built in loops on the rear of the panel. This makes a great conversation piece and provides the perfect accent to any room.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THIS PANEL BEING CUSTOM MADE AND HAND PAINTED, IT COULD TAKE 2 TO 4 WEEKS FROM THE DATE OF YOUR ORDER UNTIL YOU RECEIVE IT. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT US.
