"Gadget", an F6F-3 Hellcat (Bureau number 40467), was flown by Lieutenant Alex Vraciu with VF-6, in the United States Navy. By war's end, Vraciu was the Navy's 4th highest ace with 19 kills. The panel is based on a photograph taken of Vraciu with "Gadget" at a point in time where he had 9 kills.

Created by renowned aviation artist Gary Velasco and made with aircraft aluminum, the hand painted panel measures 22 x 26" and is easily hangable on most walls with built in loops on the rear of the panel. This panel actually has a working fuel access door. This makes a great conversation piece and provides the perfect accent to any room.
