Painted to replicate the nose art on B-17F-70-BO 12-29815 originally painted by Tony Starcer, this faithful hand-painted reproduction nose art panel of "Miami Clipper" was created by renowned aviation artist Gary Velasco. This aircraft was named after a famous east coast railroad express train. This B-17 completed its last mission on March 23, 1944, after which it was flown back to the states and sold for scrap at Walnut Ridge on January 9, 1945.
Made with aircraft aluminum, the hand painted panel measures 18 x 40" and is easily hangable on most walls with built in loops on the rear of the panel. This makes a great conversation piece and provides the perfect accent to any room.
