This faithful hand-painted reproduction nose art panel of the B-24J Liberator "Playmate" (SN 44-40791) was created by renowned aviation artist Gary Velasco. This multi-piece panel contains over two hundred rivets! This B-24 flew with the 867BS, 494BG, 7th Air Force. Like many aircraft during the war, the nose art is modeled after a Vargas pin-up, which was presented in many variants on other aircraft (see the nose art panel for the B-24 "Shoo Shoo Baby")

Made with aircraft aluminum, the hand painted panel measures 18 x 40" and is easily hangable on most walls with built in loops on the rear of the panel. This makes a great conversation piece and provides the perfect accent to any room.
