This limited Edition 1:32 scale Douglas Dauntless plastic model from BBI depicts "White 46", a dive bomber from VB-10 flying from the USS Enterprise (CV 6). Flying from the carrier Enterprise, this aircraft struck the Japanese at Truk in the Caroline Islands during Operation Hailstone on February 16 and 17, 1944.
This amazingly detailed plastic airplane model requires only minutes of assembly (essentially snapping the wings into place) and comes fully painted. It features engraved panel lines, simulated rivets, a fully outfitted cockpit with sliding canopy and pilot figure, a rear gunner position with gunner figure, rotating propeller, retractable landing gear, a weathered paint scheme and authentic Navy markings and more. The wingspan measures 15 1/2".
