This 1:18 scale US P-38 Lightning "Putt Putt Maru", replicates an aircraft flown by the 457th Fighter Group in the Pacific Theater, which featured such aces as Richard Bong (40 kills), Thomas McGuire (38 kills) and commanding officer Charles MacDonald (27 kills). This excellent large 21st Century Toys scale toy/model airplane is equipped with spinning propellers, opening canopy and retractable landing gear. This 1:18 scale model has approximately a two foot wingspan.
